Network Cables types

Networking cables are used to connect one network device to other or to connect two or more computers to share printerscanner etc.Network cables like Coaxial cableOptical fiber cableTwisted Pair cables are used depending on the network's topologyprotocol and size.
So these cables are like.

1.Twisted pair cable
2.Optical fiber cable
3.Coaxial cable
4.Patch cable
5.Cross over cable.

1.Twisted pair cable:-
Twisted-pair cable is a type of cabling that is used for telephone communications and most modern Ethernet networks. A pair of wires forms a circuit that can transmit data.
2.Optical fiber cable:-
Optical fiber cable is a cable containing one or more optical fibers. The optical fiber elements are typically individually coated with plastic layers and contained in a protective tube suitable for the environment where the cable will be deployed.
3.Coaxial cable:-
Coaxial cable is used as a transmission line for radio frequency signals. Its applications include feedlines connecting radio transmitters and receivers with their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, and distributing cable television signals.
4.Patch cable:-
A patch cable is an electrical or optical cable used to connect one electronic or optical device to another for signal routing.
5.Cross over cable:-
An Ethernet crossover cable is a type of Ethernet cable used to connect computing devices together directly. Normal straight through or patch cables were used to connect from a host network interface controller  to a network switchhub or router
